And story is very important and also very funny! It has lot more story than Portal 1 and once you are into it you get huge motivation from it.
The only parts I dont like is at the bottom where you sometimes dont even know where to go. That's more like searching and guessing than solving puzzles.
Also it is not similar to normal puzzle game. It's 1st person with that awesome gun and parts are really fast paced. Maybe try the coop mode first and talk with a friend you play with. That's extra fun and 2 brains think twice as good :D After some experience you can own in single player as well.
The question now is whether or not you enjoy a first person puzzle game with portals.
You can suck at something but if you enjoy it, found that it is challenging or whatever, that may be just enough to keep you going.
