Report a translation problem
I completed it now with keyboard/mouse.
For shooters and stuff, mouse provides a more intuitive and precise aiming. While Portal doesn't require as much precision and quick reflexes as most shooters, it still benefits from mouse aiming; but since it isn't as demanding as regular shooters, you got more liberty with personal preference.
And even if you finished it, there are still the community maps, some fun stuff there; and a nearly unlimited amount of it, so there is still new stuff for you to experiment with different input devices.
Will give community maps and co-op stuff a try when my friend completes his story as well! :)
