Portal 2 not 4k compatible?
I just recently obtained a new 4k monitor, and naturally I started testing out my games in 4k.

I started with Portal 2. The game has worked fine in the past, and it booted up just fine. I went to change the resolution to 4k res and when I applied the changes the screen went black and started flickering between a black screen and my desktop background. Eventually it will stop blinking, but the screen remains black, and the mouse cursor will continue flickering.

I then have to minimize out and end the task because it never loads. I can hear the music and I can hear my mouse scroll over options, even though i don't see them. I tested the same with Left for Dead 2 and the same error occurs. I figured it may be a valve issue with 4k compatibility, but 4k works just great with the half life series and team fortress 2 as well.

I have tried finding solutions but have found none yet. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Tiller, did you ever get it working? I run Portal 2 at native 4K fine, so the game definitely supports it. You may want to bring up this issue with your GPU manufacturer to see if they have any answers.
