how many endings?

Srry if this question has been asked before but how many endings does portal 2 have? Like I know about the one where GLaDOS pulls you back into the room but is there any other ending?

No, I'm sure there's only one specific ending (The one where GLaDOS lets you go out). There definetly are some situations in which Chell dies, like earlier in the game where GLaDOS tries to trick you into walking into a room of neurotoxin. Theoretically, these would create alternate endings, but they arent the main endings. In the Portal 2 beta, there was originally gonna be an alternate ending at the begininng of the game, whereas you could portal up to the moon (And die, I suppose, as Exile Vilify by The Nationals plays in the background). That's all I really know for alternative endings.

I think you are reffering to Portal1, where after you defeat GLaDOS you are pulled/float upwards whilst she is ...umm... kinda blowing up? haha, it looks wierd: she 'dies', you float up *shrugs*.

Anyways you are sucked up through the destroyed ceiling and are now lying on the ground above Apreture looking at the blue sky whilst pieces of GLaDOS are falling around you and then it fades to black. You escaped! That was the original ending.

At some point Valve changed this slightly. Same thing happens after you defeat GLaDOS but whilst lying on the ground you hear a robot walk up behind you and drags you back into Apreture. This is the new ending (to portal 1).

As spacecore mentions there is only one ending to Portal 2.

I think he may be refering to the 2nd game, i think what he means by "GLaDOS pulls you into the room" is when she knocks away wheatley into space and she pulls you back into the chamber before you pass out and the portal closes. I could be wrong though, I think the OP just needs to clarify that a little.

hmmm, maybe. I mainly thought of the first game because it's the only one that's kinda had two endings... not sure where the OP would get the idea portal 2 had more than one.

yup, it was made in gmod with random glados voice lines pulled from the games files.

I know this is a super old discussion but I was reading about the ending of portal 2 on pc gamer and one thing quoted was that there were three endings to the game (the single player thing in the wheat field, the coop one with all the test subjects and then other?)
