Portal 2 an IQ Test??
When I was forced to take the WAIS-III many years ago for a job cognitive assessment for a law company, it was very traumatic as I scored only 78 for the IQ test as I had slow processing speed.

When I played Portal 2, I was traumatized because I found that it was quite similar to some parts of the IQ test that I took. The cubes looked like the block design test, picture completion, and matrices, so I was very upset when I played the game.

Is Portal 2 really an IQ test? I just want to enjoy it without bringing up past horrors.

Difference is, playing Portal 2 doesn't affect the future of your life so much. AND you can find a walkthrough if you get hopelessly stuck. Plus processing speed doesn't matter too much because there's not really any time limit apart from the last level. Just relax. :)

That is a relief ._.

It was traumatic as, even though I had superior scores in the verbal and performance index, because of my dyslexia, I scored way below average for the processing speed and working memory components, as symbols tend to jumble for me, until I can no longer make sense of it.

So when it pulled the 130+ IQ scores on the 2 sections which I did well to only 78, my law company fired me without even reading the rest of the report :(
