portal 2 low graphics

hi, so im looking for some mod or something that get me the high fps to play portal 2 on my laptop so if anyone knows of some ways to get ultra low graphics to play with high fps please tell me.

I really don't think there's any mod for that. But if you mean the game mods for portal 2 such as the BeeMod, or the recent Portal Stories: Mel, or any past game mods, they all use the same source code. Or in other terms, "game engine". That basically means either your system can fully digest it, or you'll have to turn the in-game setting down. "Shader Detail" is something that will eat graphics power. You might want to turn it down to lowest.

If you have an Nvidia video card you can use Geforce Experience to make it look cartoonish and get high fps, check my Portal 2 screenshots to see what I mean

Well, it have some downsides though. They say that gels are not rendering on surfaces though still working and turret fire may crash the game.
