Portal 2 crash at startup

Whenever I launch portal 2 It's completly normal, the valve logo, powered by source, and than I get to see a picture of the bots or with chell and GLaDOS and it freezes. Anyone can help? I have a portal 2 SKI DROW which seemed to work just fine, but now the portal 2 on steam doesn't :(

Make sure to wrong startup settings on Portal 2. Check on "Library>All Games>Portal 2". Left click: "Properties>General>Set Launch Options...", when is text, remove it. And press OK. It's not work or not text, redownload it.

I already tried redownloaden and veriefying and what you said, but i didn't had launch parameters...

But then you have to contact the Portal 2 game then. I do not know anymore, sorry.

i have a diffrent problem when i get in the game and start playing it kicks me out of the game i need help

I had crashes with portal 2 at start but I solved it once again (though don't remember how) and not always did the verifying thing work. It had something to do with deleting a file inside portal 2 folders or updating some stuff on your computer.
