How do you fix your portal gun view model not showing?

Hello! I am having an issue on my 2nd playthough of portal 2 and after wheatly took over the lab my portal gun view model just cant reappear. The portal gun works but It doesn't feel right without the view model and no matter how many maps i load or move though it just wont come back (yes this includes restarting the game and my pc). If anyone knows what's going on please reply. Thank you in advanced

If it doesnt work put sv_ cheats 1 first and then it

i tried both with sv_cheats 1 and no sv_cheats and it still didnt fix my issue, thanks for the help though

Yes i can, I can't see my portal gun for the life of me though. It still functions as a portal gun but the game doesn't feel like portal without the portal gun showing if yk what I mean.

okay what did you do when it dissappeared?

well it disappeared during the part where you fall with GLaDOS in the potato but was showing when wheatly smashed the elevator before the map where you fall loaded. All I really did was play a bit of the game until you reach the part where cave johnson's voice speaks to you by the big hanging aperture logo. The gun itself works fine but it's been invisible for a few maps at this point.

okay try putting in console respawn_entities i hope it works.

Try putting r_drawviewmodel 1 in console.

cl_drawhud enables or disables the HUD, not the viewmodel.
