How do I restore the Perpetual Testing Initiative story order? (Cave Johnson messages)
So, I might be one of the only people on Earth that cares about this, but I'd like some help with this particular issue.

I started downloading maps from the workshop for the first time not long ago and noticed that the ones which have some kind of custom story (for example, the 12 Angry Tests series) don't play the messages from Cave Johnson that are supposed to be played in the normal "generic" maps (which consist of tests not connected to any kind of custom story). I noticed that in these normal maps, the messages from Cave play in a pre-determined order (according to the order in which the maps were downloaded) that is supposed to form a story of its own, starting with "Welcome test subject! It's Cave. Prime. From Earth 1...".

Then I wanted to leave only the "normal" maps in my queue, removing 12 Angry Tests, Designed For Danger, Cosmogony and all of those that didn't play the messages from Cave. But now that I did that, the storyline is all messed up, with the first test chamber playing a message talking about the sentient cloud (which is only played some chambers later). I've tried removing EVERYTHING and adding the normal maps only once again, but it was no use.

Does somebody know how to restore the order of these messages so that they can match up with the order of the maps?

Type "cm_reset_vo_progress" into the console, it should reset at the beginning.

Thanks for your help! :D I just googled that command and it seems to be the proper solution, according to other forum threads. I was just reinstalling my game to see if that would solve the problem. Once it's done, I'll get back to ya to say if the command worked or not, but it probably will ;)

I tried using that very same line in the console but I only get an error message. What am I doing wrong?

No...
His VO is a side story of its own that he tells you as you play more workshop maps.
