Are there any projects that aim to remake Portal 1 with the Portal 2 engine/assets/continuity?

It seems like a really cool idea, It would be weird after so many custom stories that nobody did that yet.

There's an upcoming mod called Alive & Kicking here on Steam that seems to be doing just that. I've also seen a bunch of Portal 1 level remakes on the workshop.

On a somewhat related note, I'd also be interested in seeing the opposite; Portal 2 remade in Portal 1's engine and style.
