Crashing while playing
Hello, i have an issue with Portal 2, when i launch the game after around 5 minutes the game crash and make steam crash with it, can anyone help me?

Validate the game files (Portal 2 Properties/Local Files...);
On Windows turn off Game Mode;
On Linux put -vulkan in the Launch Options;
Make sure you have the newest video card drivers installed, Windows or Linux is up to date, and all the system drivers (BIOS, etc.) for your PC/Laptop are up to date.

I disabled windows game mode and it fixed the problem, thanks

I disabled windows gamemode and it still didn't work bc everytime I try to play single player it crashes before it fully loads...

Have you tried to Verify the game files?
Library/Portal 2/Properties/Installed Files/Verify integrity of game files
