Today's Nintendo Direct has revealed that Valve, in collaboration with NVIDIA Lightspeed Studios, are releasing both Portal and Portal 2 for the Nintendo Switch as part of the 'Portal: Companion Collection'.

Very interesting move by Valve, especially given the imminent release of the Steam Deck.
Nice to see Valve being open with their franchises though. More people playing Valve's games can only be a great thing!

Valve is pushing Portal so hard this year, the trailer with geico, the amd trailer on the game awards, an port to the switch, many many hints on there steam deck videos. it won´t be for sure Portal 3 but something like Alyx exclusive on PC and Deck verfied would explain it

I mean, valve did say the deck was not meant to be intentional competition with the switch.

Cause it's cool. Also, there's a chance for other valve series like half-life or L4D to come to the switch aswell. AND because it pulls in more people to valve's games
