Unused Voice Lines Experts

I just found out something cool. To understand what I'm talking about you need to know that in Portal 2 all unused voice lines are translated into every supported language. What you probably didn't know, however, is that there are MUCH MORE unused voice lines in Russian that do not even appear in the original (English). For example: Maybe you know that they planed on making GLaDOS the Announcer with prerecorded messages in her voice and there are still voice lines of them. BUT these lines would NEVER be enough to replace the Announcer's lines so you might be asking yourself where those other GLaDOS-Announcer lines are. Turns out that the Russian Version has them all. The russian version of the unused lines even has some Jokes that are nowhere to be found in the English version like:

GLaDOS: Chell! Stop! I'm your mother!
Just kidding...
BUT IT COULD BE-AAAAAAHH!!!

These were just a few examples. There are really hundreds more. For example, it was planned that Wheatley would speak much longer in the accent and GLaDOS would comment on it until Wheatley realizes that she understands everything. Does anyone know why the russian version has more unused lines?

My theory:
Cave Johnson also has some unused Russian lines. And when you go to the Offical Portal Wiki to Cave's voice lines you can actually see the unused Russia lines IN ENGLISH. BUT...you can't listen to them. They are only text. You can't click to listen. And these Lines are titeled:

DELETED LINES

So my theory is that these lines were recorded together with every other line. At the time all the voice lines where supposed to be in the game. Then they cut some stuff that they didn't want in the game. BUT they didn't delete everything they don't needed. What they didn't delete but still didn't use are the "unused voice lines" since they are still in the files. The lines they didn't need and then DELETED are these "Russian-Extra-Unused-Lines". I don't know why they would NOT USE some useless lines and DELETE others but that's besides the point. Ok, now what I think happened is that the people in charge of translating the game gave the people who say the lines their text (including unused voice lines that are in the files). BUT the poeple who say the Russian lines were also given the completely deleted lines (for some reason).

That's my theory. If you have any other theories or even KNOW why please let me know. I'm kinda sad that they only exist in Russian because some of them are really funny.

I did know they purposely cut a section of Cave's lines, it was the part in the story when you learn the Caroline was later going to become GLADOS. Durring the game he make's a comment that even if he is dead, they should continue to turn her into GLADOS, whether or not she wants to or not.

Apparently they recorded the line where Caroline was being forced into the machine being GLADOS. *note i didn't hear them* but basically she was beginning for them to stop and she didn't want it to happen. The actor playing Cave didn't approve of the dialogue and thought it sounded to "rapey" so he refused to record any more lines for that scene, but it was implied he was there when it happened.

Yes, I have heard of them too. If you want to hear them you can find them on the offical Portal Wiki and every other unused line.
Oh, and since you said you like finding stuff like this it might interest you that recently they found 4 voice lines of the Hover Turret (you probably know it it's the cut testing element). You can also find them on the Portal Wiki.

And I just noticed something interesting. The r*pey Caroline lines in Russian are all with the GLaDOS voice.

funny how that was too r*pey but wheatley's lines in chapter 8 were normal
