Portal 2

Portal2 crashes since i started to subscribe Mods
Is there a way to prevent Portal2 from crashing? I subscribed around 1000 Mods maybe but this caused 2 Problems: 1. Loading time of Mods is extremly and ridiculously high. It takes like 5min or more before finally the lists of single player and coop community mods is fully loaded (it loads them 1 by 1, freaking slow).
and 2. it crashes while loading so i cant even play, but can try to make portal 2 load ofr 5+ min agian just to see it crash agian,
Why exactly is it crashing? shouldnt it be able to handle mods subscriptions and also loading them fast as a list? it makes no sense to me.
I would appreciate it if anyone has a solution for that

unsub some maps and the standard map history is set to 500 change that with this console command: cm_max_history_chambers <number> (with no <>) (me use 50),

that why take so long time
the game starten then first the game read/load your workshop folder (steamapps\common\Portal 2\portal2\maps\workshop)
when that done then the game first download new maps when you play co-op with random or some random maps on singelplayer that you have not sub manuell

thanks for the comment. by any chance, is there a way to mark workshop mads as "completed" after i unsub them? like marking them as "i already once played them" after i unsub them, so i can see which ones i shouldnt sub anymore.
and besides, i think the problem is, that portal2 isnt reading a list of mods i subscribed, but always newly attempts to read my subscribed items on my user profile online. i think that because i cant mods in offline mode, it always wants internet connection to make a list of my mods from my online subscribed mods profile. i wish portal 2 would make a one list of mods i already have and read that always, instead of trying to fetch all data 1 by 1 anew.

portal 2 not delete the old map folder (steamapps\common\Portal 2\portal2\maps\workshop) is looks like a image (tumbnail) inside the folder has some long number and the game still read any empty folder too that can the loading time after game start slow down to
