As much as I'd love both, the 3DS doesn't have enough horsepower to run that game, even with the N3DS upgrade.
Plus the game is over 5 years old now. Do you really think they're going to bother re-releasing it?

Portal 2 for mobile is imposible. The fast movements cannot be done using a touchpad/joystick. wii, wii u, 3ds, all died a while ago. Especially, the ds. We already have it on Console. The Nintendo Switch doesn't seem possible. How are you planning to play Portal 2 at like, 7 FPS, with a tiny little tablet? Using a TV wouldn't be better. Ik console exists, but it is very hard to play using a controller.

A Switch Port would be possible, and the game is fully playable and comfortable with a controller, and it would play as good, likely even better. The Switch is more than capable enough to play Portal 2.

It is hard with a controller because it is hard to get the sensitivity right. You either move the camera really slow or really fast.

"hard"
You just go with what you're comfortable with. It isn't rocket science.

The Switch would handle it. But I think that if ever a Portal series game will be on a Nintendo platform, it would be for a hypothetic Portal 3.
