Rare Train Sound in Portal 2 files
Hello guys the other day I was looking at the game files to waste my time. When I found a very strange file of a train. the file is called br_crossing_bell_dop.l This is found in C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Steam \ steamapps \ common \ Portal 2 \ portal2 \ sound \ br \ events.

The noise was similar to that of the tf2 train, but when you hear it, it is different. Also remember that in portal 2 there was a noise from a train, but it does not look like anything.

For me theres two. One called br_crossing_bell_dop.l and the other called br_crossing_bell_dop.r. They sound almost the same but sound a bit different. Very strange indeed.

i think it is used with super 8 short in bonuses

there is a chapter where when you enter the testing the chamber a hl2 combine train can be heard

early in the game glados says something about people being scared by loud noises easy, then a train sound plays shortly after, is this it?

no. that sound is a loud train horn. these are from the super 8 playable teaser.

yup just decided to go into the game and verify it its from super 8.
