Portal 2 Shop Closed?

Could it be that the shop is closed because i cant open it :( and i want to buy Skins .-.

It's been closed for years. One day Valve shut down the whole store. If you want to buy skins you'll have to trade with someone. However, most people won't be willing to trade skins when you can't buy them anymore. And those who do want to trade will ask for super rare and expensive stuff.

i remember buying 2 things from the shop in 2015, apperntly 2 weeks before the shop was closed. These things became expensive, however, NOT super expensive like the guy above stated, you can find some taunts for 7 tf2 refs/flags for 6, if you know where to search.

Well, around 3 years ago. Since it isn't obtainable anymore, i kind of want to hang on to it unless i get a trade offer that really catches my eye.
