I don't remember, but I think it was implied that the Gravity Gun Black Mesa made was actually stolen from Aperture? Which wouldn't surprise me... in that case Aperture is way superior technologically to Black Mesa. And Aperture didn't cause the alien invasion that led to the events of HL2 so I mean... that's also a plus.

i don't give a sh!t. black mesa always even if aperture is better i can't help but love black mesa. despite you have a high chances of dying in aperture you would get gassed and have little chance of escaping but in black mesa depending on your position you fight back scavenge or die. but did aperture find proof of aliens? no but black mesa did even if it led to the world being controlled by the combine or thousands of scientists security guards and military forces. but the scientists in black mesa are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ if you played blue shift you know that. shouldn't you be guarding some donuts and coffee right about now - random scientist. but who knows about apertures scientists because i haven't seen the comics and there is nobody in the game who is still alive besides doug rattman.
