A. GLaDOS got rid of him.
B. He wasn't used in the end, or was perhaps removed to make room for the Morality Sphere.
C. Worked so effectively that GLaDOS would have destroyed the facility, so they put him up to be a management robot instead.
Great points. But GLaDOS recalls Wheatley filling her head with terrible ideas, and that the scienists used cores to control her. Even though GLaDOS is known liar, she still was being honest recalling that Wheatley gave her terrible ideas in order to make her an idiot. So maybe it was your "A" point.
I'm aware of that. But Wheatley was attached to GLaDOS at some point. And I don't know if there was an empty spot on her where Wheatley used to be when Chell had to get the 4 cores off of GLaDOS.
There's 4 for the one spot Molarity fell off.
There was 4, Molarity, Curosity, Cake, and Anger. 4 round cores, that were not GLaDOS's core. It's unknown how Wheatley was attached to GLaDOS then had left her body to watch over the humans. Portal 2, GLaDOS had changed her body after she got it rebuilt so there couldn't be any cores on her. Then Wheatley takes over her body, and he must have changed it back to recieve cores planted on it for story convenience. I'm sorry if I had upset you, I don't wanna fight. This was just a theory I had, you can ignore it if that makes you happier than achknowledging it.
Yes.
Yeah, that's also a great point :D
lol I think you managed to explain my theory in least words lol :3 Yeah they have similarities between them. I don't think Wheatley could have popped off of GLaDOS himself or that she'd have the power to override reject all the cores put on her to control her. I think the only way he could have gotten off was somehow getting saved from being incinerated or that when GLaDOS exploded, that if Wheatley was his own core then Wheatley probably was thrown off from the boom. And then the facility gave him a rail so he could help keep the facility going cause cores were made in case humans couldn't be at Aperture, the cores could run it.
It was nice meeting you :D Have a great day/night.
