Extra: Super 8 Interactive Teaser

I found this after I played Portal 2 all the through. I played it because I was like "what the heck is this?!" So I get it, and SPOILERS, it's about a train crash. I wondered around it and even broke it the first time :p I fell through the map. But I tried over and it ends with something bursting out of a train car. I don't know what the heck it was all about. Why was it on Portal 2? It's probably another project Valve is working on or had been. But it seems out of place being with Portal 2. I was under the impression that it was a prequel to the series. When the train exploded it resembled the junk under Aperture, you know, after you laid in that pit. So I thought maybe I needed to find help being the survivor of the train crash. So I followed along the track, thinking I'd find Aperture maybe. But I felt through the ground after the textures ended.

Super 8 is a sci-fi movie directed by JJ Abrams. This could be considered as a part of its promotional campain.

Oh, I didn't know that. I never heard of Super 8 movie. But the teaser was cool. :) Thanks for answering my question :)
