Why do enchantment costs scale while resource gain does not
Would really just like to know the reasoning for this, this does kill experimentation with builds later on significantly. We get about the same amount of trinkets on every run, so why do higher level items cost so much more to enchant? I have to do 4 full runs to upgrade one gear set from NG++++

time sink, they are everywhere once you get to the ng+ stuff

uninstalled for the moment to see if they sort this kind of thing out.. the games too short and too boring to do this many times repeatedly.

Yeah, either the amount of enchanting materials from trinkets need to scale in NG+, or the costs for enchanting need to stop scaling at like 50 max. Eventually it becomes mobile level grindy just to put one enchantment on. Either we play through multiple runs (that's multiple hours) or grind the citadel shortcut thingy like some MMORPG grindathon game.

It is short with just five minutes, but still a chore.

Just keep playing normally.

it's honestly less than that, but since the crystals/gems dont scale in acquisition, but costs do scale as you get stronger gear, it takes an hour (or more) of dedicated grinding just to enchant a single set of stuff

Additionally Iron cost for anything does not scale, despite iron gain scaling with NG+, this is not a call to make Iron cost scale, just being able to enchant my gear and finally afford all the upgrades from the magic shop would be peak.
