I think if you light 3 or 4 candles you get past the plant boss? But this is only a vague memory, I tried it once.

What do you mean? It is the usual spiel: enemies for exp, trinkets for power, and then moving on.

You get to the barracks also through the tower. But you need to light more candles before pulling the lever.

i feel like lighting two candles is much more efficient

the prison offers a lot of good rewards and are fairly quick to get through

Well if you want as much stuff and trinkets as possible, then the best option is not skipping at all.

i usually never skip, i think i only skipped 2 times, but when i do i feel 2 candles are better than 4

honestly the fact they only give you 4 skill orbs makes the entire thing pointless anyway unless you are really overgeared
