Why isn't there an in game information on these items? It's kind of basic usability feature to have...

As someone who also never really played the original (and just a few hours in the 1.1 version) I also would welcome an ingame explanation what most of the stuff that I pick up does and if and how I can use it!

This is supposed to attract new players who never really experienced the Outcast world after all, isn't it?

whats the point in remastering a game, if you cut out half the important content from the original?

In the original everything was listed in the manual so it really is a bit of an oversight.
