Guys- there's a SECOND GAME. (Spoilers for First Game Inside, Be Warned)

Idk if y'all knew about this but there's a sequel to this game- not on steam, but there is- it's called 1beatHeart and it follows Nanashi and Misane after the events of the first game and they SOLVE MYSTERIES TOGETHER. Here's where you can download it: http://vgperson.com/games/1beatheart.htm
I'm SO excited man, this game was beautiful and I'm SO excited to see the story goes on for longer!

i actually wasn't a big fan of 1beatheart's ending tbh but man was the Aesthetic great and the banter between the duo fun -

if it's a matter of bringing it to steam... the only thing i can really think of that might be holding it back is the Greedy Girl cover song that Misane (Seika) and Nanase (Tousayu) sang during the credits since it'd be a copyright issue unless beco gets to have some of the profits of the game. Though this could also apply with just about any other song that they've used for the game. I can't really imagine it being a Huge Deal or anything since miwashiba is usually pretty good dealing with this kind of thing but it's one possibility.

there's also the fact that.... miwashiba's has difficulty writing sequels. ;; I swear there was this one tweet after 1beatheart's release where they said that they kinda forgot how to write Nanase slkfjslkf,, They otherwise talked about how hard it was going back to write LiEat was for its novel in the afterword. So the possibility of any continuation after 1BeatHeart is rather low, so with that in mind, it'd probably feel iffy to put a game with little future for continuation up on Steam.

But we'll just have to see after they get more progress in for The Faceless Double and Ayakashi Akashi. Miwashiba also once said that the games they've made were considered different universes from each other so it felt implied that there wouldn't be crossover cameos but now there's gonna be a LiEat cameo in the The Faceless Double, so they could potentially surprise us with something else in the future.
