half off and uncensored

I only bought this game because it was half off and i found a way to download the previous uncensored version.

as someone who suffers from depression and has been suicidal in the past please let me take this time to explain my disappointment with the devs.

they could have used the idea of the player being able to shoot themselves as a way to help people understand suicide and could have made it a launching point to a larger discussion.

but no they took the safe easy way out and at the same time caved to pressure and tarnished their own vision.

but like i said i found a way to play the un-censored version and heres how you make it happen.

1) hit the windows+R keys

2) type "steam://open/console" into the run box

3) The secret steam console will launch type "download_depot 617830 617831 1718632565497690274" into steams console and wait for the game to download (NOTE: download wont appear in downloads tab wait for the console to tell you its done)

4) since this isnt installed in the traditional way it wont show up in your steam library. so go to the fallowing folder address
"steam\content\app_617830\depot_617831"

5) right click SUPERHOTVR.exe and create a shortcut and drag it to your desktop

6)launch steamVR

7) launch the game from the shortcut on your desktop

8) Enjoy

THANKS this worked great! Only you don't need "run" before download but I figured that out.
I hate any form of censorship, disappointing that they caved.

Install SH VR.
Remove contents of that install.
Download depot
Move contents into SHVR folder
launch from Steam
