Report a translation problem
I suppose the "next best thing" is to put your headset on a table and "throw" it by pressing the trigger, and then proceed.
Best I could think of is to modify the "highestfinishedlevel" parameter in the save file to whatever level is after that one. Unfortunately I'm not sure what that level is called.
Here's the path to the save file if you want to poke around in it:
Send me a friend request if anything is unclear and I'll do my best to help you.
No idea if that's what it actually does, though.
If I understood the save file syntax correctly it should be located in the stringDictionary, so appending "skipDedication":true after the highestlevelfinished parameter should probably work.
If I'm correct, it should look something like this:
Also, kinda unrelated but while looking for that I found a GameObject called "JEBANYWIELKISPOTLIGHTTTTTTTKURWAMAC" in the code of one level.
Now, I don't know Polish, but I do know how to use online translating tools and I am pretty sure that could be translated to something along the lines of "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ big spotlight for ♥♥♥♥♥ sake".
I have a feeling whoever named that didn't expect anyone else to ever see it, lol.
Anyways, I started a new save file to check this out, and since it didn't work I decided to just shoot myself in the head, quit the game and compare the backup I took just before with the new save file.
It doesn't actually change the highestfinishedlevel parameter, but it does change finishedInHacker and hasSeenHackerRoom1Full to true, as well as change byte 22-23 from E501 to 8202.
For simplicity, I decided to upload a savefile from just after this point of the game. You can find it here.[pastebin.com]
Let me know if you need any further assistance.
Accounting did the same thing but I don't think it was required to progress.
What I did end up doing the next day was, tape a little piece of cardstock over the proximity sensor (Samsung Odyssey+) to prevent the game automatically being closed when removing the headset. Then just took the headset off and pulled the trigger at its (lack of a) head. I can readily enough do that again if the second instance in the game does turn out to be required; the jumping off the roof part was similarly bypassed by the motion of just taking the set off.
The save file will be useful to have in the future though (I'm not the only one I know who might want/need such a solution), so thank you again.

Love the game btw!
