For a five year old game
You guys are missing a few things.
1. Being able to move the room position(or snap the center of it) to the players current position. As of right now, I can't play the game cuase I can't reach the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ starting pistol due to it being about a meter out of my avaible play space (theres a go damn wall in the way.)

Did you set up your Guardian so that you can reach ant touch it? If so, if you reach through it aiming your hand at an object and press the grab button, you should be able to "force pull" the object to your hand.

Small advice from me: when you load level and you actually in-game, click the Oculus button on the right controller and then click "reset view". That way game will use Oculus room set up properly

You can use Steam's reset standing/seated position button on the bottom right of the vr menu too. Had the same problem and that worked for me.

Also you can use OAR Advanced Settings, which is a free app on the steam store that allows you to offset your position in a VR game. Search "OAR Advanced Settings" in the steam store search. It's very easy to use.

With the quest 2 (not sure about the others) you can hold the oculus button on the right controller for a few seconds and it will reset view as described

ChaperoneTweak is another good tool for adjust your play area after you go through Steam set up. It will allow you to re-orientate your facing direction so there isn't a wall in the way and place your start position to where you actually start at.

I have the issue of recentering and reach but I got this one on windows store instead of steam so it lacks the Steam reset ability. SO basicaly it resets where ever you die, When it gets out of whack I just center myself and die to reset the view. fixes the reach issue also
