I'd do that if one error didn't put me back 20+ minutes of progress.
This game is too hard. Not for me.
some general tips would be:
take your time, dodge while shooting, looking at bullets while they pass will guarantee they dont touch your hitbox, bullets far enough under your shoulders wont touch your hitbox, use your hands and guns to block bullets.
Throwing objects at shooters relieves them of their guns. That made a hell of a difference.
It IS extremely difficult, and it is a puzzle game at its base, but it's more managable knowing that.
I'd also say that having to do 5 'rooms' in a row or lose all progress is a bit unfair. It should checkpoint after two rooms.
I've noticed the hands only block two bullets per round, one per hand. And it's also hit and miss. Sometimes the block just doesn't work.
There's a visual cue. If your hands look like they're vibrating, then they can't be used to block a bullet. Next time you block a bullet, notice how your hands change. You can block bullets with other objects like guns and knives too.
Keep in mind that you are never standing "still". Little movements you make means that the enemies (and more importantly, the bullets they've fired) are always heading in your direction. However, you can use the air traffic controller method; if a bullet is not on a straight line trajectory to intercept you, then it won't ever hit you and can be discounted (as long as you don't move back into it's path). And to echo what Filtertip said; look around and plan. Sometimes you will find additional weapons just out of your immediate sightline.
Lastly, you can punch enemies and grab their weapons right out their hands. And any object that hits an enemy will kill it, so if you get good at throwing objects, you can kill enemies and save bullets. I say *if*, because many of us find accurate throwing to be harder than throwing IRL.
Now the endless level does get impossibly hard very quick, at least for me.
Yeah I know about the vibration - that's what I meant by two blocks per room. One on each hand.
No, even before that it still sometimes doesn't work properly.
And a lot of what you said I've also figured out. Thanks.
while playing a lot of endless mode i found that if i'm in an area where i get blindsided frequently i can keep one of my weapons up like a boxer blocking punches and it'll actually save my ass pretty reliably.
