Superhot vr controls on windows mr

Ever since I reintalled superhot vr on my pc the controls seem to have changed, i now have to hold a side button to pick up and hold objects before it used to use the trigger to pick up and shoot and the touch pad to release is there any way i could revert these settings as ive tried changing betas but none of them change anything

The lenovo mixed reality headset

I just got the Lenovo Explorer and Superhot VR - this is how the game works for me too. It's not so bad, but my thumbs definitely hurt after a while because you have to hold that side button in as long as you have something in your hand.

Works like this in pretty much every game it seems. I'm hoping to find a way to reconfigure the controller so that holding in the touch pad or something takes place of the side grab button - this would be incredibly comfortable and wouldn't hurt my thumbs.
