LIV SDK Support
Could you guys add support for the LIV SDK ? They have a steam page here and the sdk/client is free. It would allow content creators to make cool mixed reality videos. Machinima made and MR video with superhot vr here is a link https://www.twitch.tv/videos/243535591 your game looks very cool for MR. If you added support for liv it would make it easier for all of us to make cool videos with your game!

I'm a Mixed Reality streamer and I would love to be able to stream Superhot VR in Mixed Reality

I would absolutely love to stream this and would also need LIV support to do it - it would look amazing! Please give us a shout out if this is possible? Thank you!

It was working a Aug. 9 2019 when I recorded this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m_kSmiqfzl8. But today, I tried to record a run thru, but it does not work now. I was very disappointed. In case it matters, I use the Valve Index VR system.

Have you tried unchecking "use SDK" and setting Effect as "Legacy:Normal"? That's how we've been capturing some of our footage - on different headsets, but it might be a way for you too, I think.

We're working on full support without the need to use those particular settings though.

I also tried the settings that you propose above. No matter what, I get a bad output in LIV. Like what I'm sharing here: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AilK00O8qAofiIxCyShNIhxgJ05lLA

Okay, I played around more with all of the options, and today I was able to get Superhot VR to work by manually starting in LIV with Use SDK checked and Effect = SDK: Normal. Yesterday it wouldn't work with these setting, but I did uninstall / reinstall and didn't run thru all of the settings again until just now.

The unfortunate side effect of running it manually is the composited video is at a lower resolution. But at least I got something. I'll post and share a video on YouTube either later today or tomorrow.

Thank a lot for responding to my issue.

I will take that info to our team. LIV support is one of our ideas but we cannot do everything at once, sadly ;)

Here is the link to my video that I recorded a couple of days ago using the settings that I referenced above: https://youtu.be/hZMPzlj7gSI

syborg ty. that looks very good. I just started doing this with superhot. my recordings from obs look pretty good but the framerate in my headset is very choppy. Im running a 1080 with a second gen i7. are you seeing this with your setup?
CyborgTY Sep 30, 2019 @ 8:50am
@trumbama Thanks for your feedback.

My system has 8th gen i7 (8700) with RTX 2080 graphics card. So, no I don't see any issues with frame rate. :steamhappy:

@Cyborg Ty, sorry about the misspelling on the first post. Thanks. I actually have a i7-6700k. dont know what gen it is but I now know that an upgrade would help.
CyborgTY Oct 5, 2019 @ 9:43am
@trumbama Yeah. I know the upgrades for this VR hobby aren't cheap (new system or components). I also have an animated movie production hobby. So, as I upgraded that workstation with an RTX 2080 TI, I moved its old graphics card (RTX 20180) to my gaming system. ;-)

Oh, here is part 2 of my Superhot VR series (in case you are interested). https://youtu.be/Nu8CMbPFD8U
