Progress stopping bug at Ward 13 mirror
I'm on my second playthrough, and I was activating the mirror at Ward 13 with the Founder's Key. I successfully activated the mirror, but for whatever reason, the mirror could not be interacted with, and I couldn't travel through it.

So I just quit to menu, and restarted the game...which was apparently a mistake. Going back down to the mirror room, I found that the mirror was shut down--but my Founder's Key was gone, meaning I can't reactivate it.

Am I just done? Do I have to reroll the whole campaign just to fix this one stupid bug right before the final boss fight? Or does anyone know of a fix?

Did you interact with the pc beside it after interacting the mirror?

@glenn3e Yes, and it is in lockdown, like it is before you put the key in. Only now my key is missing.

Have you made sure power is on? (Large fan should be running.)

@uac.flynn.taggart Indeed. The computer won't even be on if the power is off. BTW, I should explain this further. I had SUCCESSFULLY turned the mirror on, but I couldn't interact with it. All conditions had been met, and the mirror turned on (as in, I could see the halls of Ward 17 in it), but the prompt for interaction never popped up, and mashing e didn't do anything near it. Restarting the game turned the mirror off and put the computer into lockdown, exactly like it is before the key is inserted...only now, I have no key in my inventory, because I used it before. It's a bug, clearly caused in some way by 1. the mirror interaction first being bugged, and 2. restarting the game without reaching a proper checkpoint of some kind. It saved me using the key, but not turning on the mirror.

Are you in adventure mode?

Happened to us in multiplayer, had to leave the game and start a new run, then the mirror worked. Did you accidently switch to adventure mode? then that would explain the missing key, if not then not sure. For us it showed the mirror going all the way to the edges, and was un-interactable.

Upon reset, it was more blurry and could be interacted with.

This is not in adventure mode. As explained, I was playing through the story mode, and everything was working fine until the mirror fired up.

As it is, this is now moot, as I've decided to just re-roll the campaign anyway; mainly due to frustration with how Adventure mode works in Rhom--oh, so you got lucky and got the dungeon with the Akari set? SHAME THAT ONLY TWO DUNGEONS THAT DROP THE GLOWING RODS SPAWN, WHEN YOU NEED THREE. Get lucky and have Maul spawn in your world? TOO BAD, WUD DIDN'T SPAWN, SO NEITHER DID THE ANCIENT CONSTRUCT, AND OH YEAH, YOU LOSE THE CONTROL ROD UPON RE-ROLLING YOUR ADVENTURE MODE.

For Akari set you have to do that map multiple times as you won’t have enough Glowing rods.

r u sure u looked at EVERY corner? I think I always got all 3 rods.

I too only got 2 rods for Akari. Just as well, a Maul without Wud (and many Wuds without Mauls). My only suggestion would have been to revisit Ford, but that would just be a troubleshoot approach with no guarantee it'd do anything. Sorry and I hope your new campaign goes by quickly with good drops.

@BattlestarBeetsBear Yes, I did, and do recall this is in adventure mode. Fewer dungeons spawn in adventure mode. In my run, only 2 dungeons that have a chance to drop glowing rods spawned, so it was literally impossible to get all 3. Now, I've never had that happen in story mode, because you get two full areas (Eastern Wind and Scouring Wastes) each with several dungeons attached to them. But you only get one area in Adventure Mode, so you get fewer chances.

He's right about wud/maul, forgotname/3 glowing rods, graveyard/queen, and maybe one or two other things don't always spawn on the map but thats the random chance he's taking with those modes along with random chance of the game. It's how the games suppose to be so donno why it's a complaint that he has to continue playing to collect everything......

Rather hear something about the bug that was encountered and was it solved.

@uac.flynn.taggart The complaint is about how adventure mode in Rhom is often like trying to roll a 7 with a single die. Multiple things have to be in place at the same time, and if you get only one of the things, it's useless, and doesn't stay in your inventory upon re-roll for whatever reason. This isn't like any other area's adventure mode, since each dungeon/boss/encounter is independent on Earth, Corsus, and Yaesha. The only slight comparison could be made on Earth, where you need the pocket watch to get a certain item from Brabus, or the twisted mask to get the trait from the Wailing Oak, BUT in both of those cases, the items stay in your inventory between rolls, so they don't have to appear in the same run.

And the bug is now moot, as already explained above. Since no one knew how to fix it, I ended up just re-rolling the campaign. Hopefully it won't happen again when I get to that point...

Well maul has collar he drops too I wouldn't say useless just hidden behind chance. I agree it's kinda shotty to hide it that way but thats the game lol. As for the bug no idea on that one few people have reported it already so I'm sure some kind of fix will come soon for it. They also claim they are looking at the holding sprint stuff so maybe then few fixes will come out for these things I hope.
