Getting the Smolder (Flame Sword) / Singe Boss

Hello, Im looking for the flame sword from Singe Boss (fire dragon), the Smolder I believe.
My question:
1. Can we encounter Singe boss in Adventure mode? If unable, I just have to reroll it right?
2. I've encountered Singe in campaign but it didnt drop the Dragon links. Do i need to reroll the campaign again?
3. Anyone want to offer me help defeating the Singe in hard?

Singe is a 50/50 shot of being your World Boss in an Earth adventure.
You get the dragon heart from defeating it normally, and the dragon links from defeating it after shooting off its tail (which is a nod to Dark Souls)

Do I have to reroll in adventure mode? I've beaten the Ent in adventure mode hard. Or just keep going on earth adventure mode?

If meeting Singe is a matter of chance, do the drops from the tail (dragon links) also need a chance, or a sure one?

Yeah I've faced him but I didnt cut off his tail!

Keep rerolling adventure mode (Earth) and you'll find him eventually, it's him OR the ent, you can't have them both in the same run. The drop is 100% just make sure you cut the tail before you kill him :)

It seems ive spammed my bullets into his tail and it wont come off,even after being helped by friends.

can anyone give me help or tips?

Yup to raise accuracy aim higher torwards the base he will continously flip around trying to face you just keep circling if he gets trapped so his tails in a wallish youll have to just wait it out. Takes roughly 70%ish damage to break his tail off so it has to be a made choice and for sure where the damage is going.
(if it matters i generally circle clockwise to dragons right)

The Sniper Rifle works very well for me, it's quite safe and easy to move around and snipe the tail. I did the same thing with a friend in duo co-op too, clean cut! :)

You need a lot of burst damage on tail. I used Hunting Rifle on tail and it came off early.

It's quite difficult solo, I'm yet to achieve it. But it's pretty simple if you can coordinate in co-op - have players on opposing ends of the arena, whoever Singe is facing/attacking should ignore him and just fight off Immolators, while the other player(s) focus down his tail. When aggro shifts, just swap roles.

When I did this with a friend on hard, for some reason he focused on them mostly, so I went to town on his tail with the Devastator and it came off around 1/3rd HP remaining, maybe 1/4.

Damn, my teammates focused on body too much so it's left 1/10 while i did the damage on the tail so much it failed. It's a bit frustrating to find it now, on adventure. Can you help me?
