making a new character is kind of pointless

i was thinking of making a new one and then realized theirs no point.

you can collact the other classes stuff and you can change the diffculty and stuff.

maybe something i am missing?

looks to me its liek a 1 char game, you could make a newo ne but its kind of pointless even if you messed up in the beginning aka traits or whatever.

There is not much point in new character, but if you want to start new game with a friend, it obviously better if you both are from scratch

Only point is if you want to rerun with friends or do something like "no gear apocalpyse fresh run" etc. .

Like you mentioned these "classes" just start with certain weapons and traits that favor them for the start but you can obtain everything later.

Only point I can see is if wanting to try "Hardcore" mode which I think gives some specific account-wide items not retrievable in "non-Hardcore" mode.

u can unlock things by playing hardcore. I'd suggest at least going through the game once before doing hardcore stuff though. Makes it easier when you know all the encounters.
