i think the tree should do literally anything. it does nothing. it does not change in any way whatsoever. it's as if I never existed, let alone dumped pounds of lead into it. it is an alien, pulsating tree covered in pustules, so exploding makes as much sense as any other outcome. and I figured it would be easier/cheaper to do that than making the pustules burst and tree wither and die, which would be ideal. i'm loving this game, but pretending like this isn't an entirely reasonable criticism is not doing anyone any favors.

Are you guys just going to ignore what I said? NOTHING happens. NOTHING. Exploding was just an idea that would be easy to implement.
