Where to farm Scrap?

I'll copy-paste my response from yesterday's conversation, in hopes that this will be of help to you!

There are some really strong methods of getting a lot of scrap and iron in a short time without wasting a lot of time getting the right setup going:

• Adventurer set: a single piece alone will boost your scrap pickup by flat 20% & increase the odds of a breakable prop to drop iron by 10%. A full 3-set will put the iron drop to 35%;
  
• Loop of Prosperity: doubles the iron you pick up;
  
• Scavenger's Bauble: Scrap pick up is increased by whole 50%;
  
• Scavenger trait: Scrap pick up is increased by 35% @ rank 20.

(The Adventurer goggles & Loop of Prosperity are both obtained as account-wide items from Survival mode, requiring you to kill 5 bosses consecutively and killing 25 bosses (can be done over multiple runs) respectively. The Bauble is acquired from Yaesha dungeon event with bells related to the Doe Shrine, and the trait is unlocked by either collecting a total of 50,000 scrap over your entire playthrough or by turning in the Tarnished ring (found on Earth) to Reggie.

For scrap farming locations, I would recommend any of these three:

• Normal difficulty Rhom with starting zone being a village. Quickly clear all the enemies using your preferred build, swap to the recommended build above and start destroying all of the pots and other furniture you can find in that village.
  
• Normal difficulty Yaesha where tree houses with platforms are. The layout is sectioned into bigger areas, which is easy to clear and the enemies aren't too difficult to deal with.
  
• Normal difficulty Reisum (Subject 2923 DLC world). Equip the recommended set, put on your best weapons, and scout every building & corner of this frozen world. This world is packed with scrap and iron everywhere, especially in the dungeons with mole rats.

If you do not have some of these pieces of equipment, I would still recommend going to the places I've mentioned above, as these are a lot more dense in loot than any other world locations from my experience. I would also recommend doing Survival whenever you feel like changing the pace of gameplay, as you can unlock really strong account-wide accessories from this mode by just reaching different thresholds of boss kills.
