Raze boss fight

This is my first play through and so far I really like the challenge. I've had three boss fights and they we're difficult but fun. I've been trying to kill Raze for a day now and keep getting my ass kicked. Any insights on how to kill him would be appreciated. Can't progress the game any further until I get past this boss. Plating solo on normal diff. Thanks.

Try consuming a Hydro Coolant before the boss fight begins. It will improve your resistance to Fire damage by a considerable amount. Besides that, make sure you're using the right weapon for the job - Coach Gun and Shotgun don't have the range or accuracy to adequately damage Raze or his minions. Weapons like Hunting Rifle, Sniper Rifle, or Assault Rifle will have better luck.

if you havent been using any of the big hour long buffs give them a try, a little extra health or crit chance can go a long way in a boss fight thats giving you trouble

The dangerous part about it are those green exploding heads unless you either has Radiation Resist or weapon with Radiation damage like Beam Rifle (those green head weak to radiation). You also can "baseball" those head to make them go away before it explode.

As for the boss itself, Mender's Aura pretty handy to have.
