Dont know where to go
Im constantly getting lost or miss dungeons or go back to locations where i already was 3 times before. IS IT SO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ HARD TO ADD NAMES TO LOCATIONS? like on the map? name ♥♥♥♥♥♥ dungeon entrances? A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MARKER OPTION in menus?
How am i supposed to keep track where i was when we play the same levels all over again and everything is random generated?
Rigth now im supposed to search a trail of ford in jungle, im in yaesha and cleared everything there - no clue where to go

My guess is you're in the second layer of Yaesha now (after fighting the siege of Immortal Shrine).
Go to the farthest south and you'll find a temple. There's stairs, climb it and you"ll find an entrance to The Ravager/Totem Father.

Well, the symbols for dungeon change colors if you enter them, all dungeon entrances are different and all dungeons are named:))
In campaign you kill a boss and enter a 2nd big map with the world boss so its 2 big maps per planet
You didnt clear everything, you probably didnt CLIMB a staircase to an upper level entrance, its usually a ramp to door in a tree, very well hidden.
If you play on pc use world analyzer

jea i know the dungeons r named but how u remember that? the names r not on the map. I played through earth adventures 11 times!!!! for the damn bandit set - guess what - the coresponding dungeon spawned 1 time (according to world analyzer) but i couldnt find it. I ran through earth so many times and got EVERYTHING else but not what i wanted in the first place.
THIS IS BS GAMEDESIGN.
Regarding colour change of the symbols - need to try to play attention to that - so far i didnt notice

so on 12th earth adventure "cut throat channel" finally spawned, even as first dungeon i had to go through - as if the damn rng would know lol
So entrances are orange - i see no difference in colour

When you rest at ANY crystal (campfire) the name of the area is shown.

If you play on pc use world analyzer if on console , yeah take pictures with your phone or writr it down.
Yeah, sometimes it comes down to a player being lucky and finding the right encounters to make the game a lot easier.
Like having the assault rifle or chicago typewritter on earth.
I hope they are working on the second game and they makine the game more skill based

Its like old school DnD, get the grid paper rdy !!

Have same problem, most games give some direction, just have to explore everything here which is kinda a good thing.

Jea i like the exploration too, at least at the beginning (im the guy that runs in every corner and checks everything), but when u run through the same tilesets the 10th+ time when u just want that ONE thing, and u dont get it, thats when it gets annoying. Also since everything is random, its very easy to get lost and miss a dungeon. This could be partially solved by just adding names to the entrances on the map and make the colour difference between visited and unknown more obvious.(also when there was a boss - boss icon) Im 50ish hours in now and didnt notice that difference

The map generations have a set layout limit and will always generate between those layouts. Experience will tell you which layout you have based on looking at part of a map. The names of dungeons as you enter them will also reveal what you have as you have already discovered. There are also super hidden things that have no dungeon corrolation and can appear in multiple locations. Keep playing and youll get the hang of whats where and when.

Old thread, but I just wanted to agree with the OP. In my single player game, I'm still on Earth. I recently finished a boss and then went exploring to pick up some missed things here and there. Now, I'm looking at my maps and have no idea where to go to continue. As far as I can tell, all my maps are fully explored and I've entered (and I thought completed) all the dungeons leading off of them. I guess I'm going to have to figure out the name of that last boss I beat, see if I can find a location name and how to get there (which won't be trivial since the maps are randomized), and head back there to see what I forgot.

There are a lot of things in this game that make me feel like I'm fighting the game instead of playing it.
