Any tips on how to defeat Scourge ?
Maybe some traits I should invest in, use different weapons, because by the way it looks right now, I have no fr1cking chance in h3ll to defeat him.
Thanks in advance.

the biggest thing when me and my buddy fough him for the first time is that you NEED consumables, like bloodwort and ammo boxes. It's a slog of a fight, especially if he's rolled regenerater

Don't shoot the Head hug the Pillar when he starts his crazy casts and focus the adds because these guys are super nasty.

The Scourge is surprisingly one of the more difficult fights in this game I find, and it's less about the Scourge itself and more about the adds (the same with the Harrow, again; imo). Pendergast891 is correct though: the fight is more about endurance than it is about Burst-damage, as well as using the pillars as cover from the swarms.

A couple of things to note though:
-The Scourge's attacks are relatively to dodge once you get used to them, but stay away and take cover when that "shield" goes up around him. It will stop all forms of damage; Bullets, Melee (which is always a bad idea in this fight to begin with), and even Damage Over Time (DOT: Burning, Bleeds). So don't rely on them too heavily.

-As "Omnomnom Bagel" stated; The adds are hella dangerous here. If you've got the Guardian's Ring, it may be worth keeping on due to how quickly these radioactive guys can leap out of the corner of your screen and snag a chunk of your health out. Something you can try is to take out all but one of these adds and just try to avoid it. Once in a while, the game will not "Refresh" the reinforcements until they are all dead, leaving you to keep track of only one extra vs 2-4.

-As for weapons... I don't think it has a specific weakness. Try to steer away from some of the DoTs mentioned earlier, as well as summons and Radiation damage as a whole. Try to go for flat damage+mods, possibly even provoking him to melee attack and fire when you have openings (just keep in mind that once in a while it will claw at you and then Backhand). Use his shields for some downtime to take out adds in a safe place, use consumables and heal up. These things are made to be used, and this fight is one of the few that gives you many openings to refresh them quite regularly.

Many thanks.

sourge and harrow have the worst adds in the entire game no contest. these small melee runners either explosive or non explosive are absolute cancer. the only thing that comes close are those annoying goatman with triple crossbow shots in the jungle dungeons.

fokus em down at all costs when they spawn. the boss itself is literally no threat here.

if you have iron sentinel or the skulls they can help here. bleeding the boss also helps greatly so you can fokus the minions.

bring ammo boxes.

getting this boss as your first boss in survival is a literall run ender depending on what rng gave you at the start.

It helps when you have a weapon that can 1shot the adds from a distance (or knock them down with powerful shots). Radiation explosion makes meleeing the adds too dangerous (although technically you have enough time to dodge right as explosion goes off). Hunting pistol or shotguns generally do the trick I find. It's also not the worst idea to force the boss to go into the shield radiation spam form when adds spawn so you have time to kill adds without worrying about the boss (aside from the radiation spam).

Thanks. Which weapon can do this ? I have a hunting rifle+15 and it can not even 2shot them from a distance.

Like I said, hunting pistol and shotguns generally do the trick for me. Maybe magnum too? Sniper rifle can def 1 shot them, but if you don't have reload traits, might be rough taking them down before they reach you. Coachgun might be good since even if you can't 1 shot, you can 2 shot, roll away while reloading, and repeat.
