dedicated servers?

does this game have official dedicated servers, or is it P2P only? My friends are all scattered around the world and P2P is pretty bad for us. A lot of good coop games like Vermintide 2 and We Need to go Deeper was unplayable for us.

It uses Peer-to-peer, sadly.

I guess this is the staple for all co-op games nowadays.

yeah I know why it's popular but it's hard to game when one of our friends disconnects because he's 8000 miles away. we're still playing dota after all these years because the servers are pretty good most of the time and 200 ping is bearable as long as there's no packet loss

I agree with you and understand the frustration! But since it's P2P there should be a way to proxy closer right? so he doesn't have to connect from that afar. Would be easier? but yes, theres work into that

well thats confusing. My friend and i are playing Remnants together with almost no delay between us and we're both from Philippines and Australia respectively. We honestly thought there was dedicated servers since playing L4D2 and BL2 have huge delays but Remnants works fine with us
