Just prioritize adds, especially those little options the boss releases as they have long range and good aim. Don't get cornered by the boss.
He's certainly one of the hardest bosses in the game (mostly because he's optional), so best of luck!
He can spawn up to 4 turret orbs if you dont kill them fast and summon up to 4 mobs to attack you with range weapons.
And they can basically kill you in 2 to 3 hits. lol
I dont even want to think how it's on nightmare.
So for now have no advice how to kill him. Sorry XD
On solo he should be limited to two orbs and have a bigger gap on the ranged summons.
When he enters stage 2, healing while summoning the small adds, make sure you stay next to him shooting him in the head, while taking care of any adds coming up the ramp. A good mod is the blosso(takes aggro for 10 seconds), if you have that.
It took me like 20 tries, but once i got the hang of it, i can solo him pretty much everytime unless i get an unlucky shot in my face, it happens.
No sadly not.
He spawns 2 y but if your not quick he will add 2 more.
Then he summons 2 adds (on one side) and after some seconds 2 more come on other side and shot you in back if your not cerful (or the orb turret will get you if they are still up).
At least that is how my expirience with him was. Mybe also adds somoning time gets shorter when his hp gets lower in time?
I think it might be a damage scaling issue, i remember fighting him in coop when i was much lower level and it wasnt nearly as bad. I returned to him with 10+ gear and it became a nightmare. i think that his orbs and adds are meant to spawn when he receives a predetermined amount of damage. The higher you are in gear the easier is for this threshold to be met?
Just speculating , could also be a bug too , i did have Ixillia spawn with both bosses active several times.
Yup, easy as that..
Since you fight him - you gave heart to fairy and got a set with 'assassin' bonus.. get your best 1 shot, 1 reload weapon(crossbow you get from the fairy is pretty damn good, although the aim on it takes some time to get used to) and put hot shot on it, start by talking to the undying king on the stairs.. Stay on the stairs and kill first 4 mobs, with the assassin bonus everyone aside of first one will die in 1 hit.. they can't really do anything when you are on the stairs. Then use your handgun to deal with orbs he will spawn in a second or so after you kill them not to waste bullets of rifle on them.
Now that first set of orbs died - GO FACE, literally.. pop the 'hot shot ASAP' and continue shooting him, your goal is to get him as close to half HP as possible. Once things get really hot - sprint away in a line which makes the projectiles miss you and start sniping the mobs 1 by 1. The boss will soon start moving to 'heal up' and 'dog phase' will start, which is a nice way to recover ammo. Dogs are limited btw, so take your time, although boss will heal up some, it's worth to be prepared to finish bursting him after this phase.
Once he dies - he will respawn with rather low HP. Use time when he respawns to start killing mobs. He will often immediately start another dog phase... which is pretty much a guaranteed win, as you will burst him out after this...
If you don't get lucky with ammo from dogs - you might need to pop 1 ammo box.
If you play solo you are pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥, unless you farm a lot of EXP to get really high LVL equipment so you can 1 shot the NPCs and do really high damage on the Boss.
