Strange coin disappeared

In a coop game we got the strange coin, which was definitely in my inventory after we picked it up.
When I went back to my game it hand it in and get the gun it had disappeared!
Is there any way to get it back?

Quest items you pick up in a multiplayer game only stay in your inventory while you are in that game.

The only way to get it back is finding another game with it in it or finding it in your game.

if it wasnt a random coop game, you can just join your buddy again and wait for him to hand it in ... you'll get the weapon aswell
