The gameplay itself has almost no story, that´s true.
+1, just like Bloodborne or Souls games, you can't understand fully the lore if you don't read anything written on any item \ material \ note. It's time expensive, but that's how this kind of games works.
could be, but dark souls even if u had to piece the story, the world itself told the story, and it was the first game of its kind so i played like hell, but like u said, i have no idea of what the hell is goind on haha, maybe because the char's are not that great (yet) but i'll try to keep playing
IMO it's also the worst possible way to do environmental storytelling.
And why? It reasonable to find notes, pc entries and diaries.
This not have a good story? Are you just skipping every notes/computers/dialogues out there? :|
