I'd say, 10 to 15 hours for your first playthrough.
I registered a total amount of almost 11h on my campaign, I haven't done everything but already started a new world in hard mode. But you can play with everyone pretty quickly so the multiplayer adds a lot.

I played through dark souls as well. This game is pretty nice. But it needs some balancing imo and you should play on normal then hard and lastly nightmare. So don’t expect it to be close to darksouls. It’s kinda same but still completely different.

On normal, the game isn't hard. The harder difficulties from what I've read just make enemies spongier and hit harder. Dunno what the purpose of that is...they are already spongy enough, at least some enemies are. Bosses already kill in 1-2 hits depending on the type of hit even with leveled vigor and armor staying capped out. It's really not a hard game though. Long as you can hit the weakpoints consistently, you control the battlefield.

i started the game on hard. got a solo and a coop char to play with a friend. the coop session has now a playtime of 18-19 hours and we are still in the second world (of 4). hard nails it and is a lot of fun. youll play more careful and so youll need more time. i really enjoy that and got a lot ds feeling.

for the best experience i wouldnt go for normal. the thing is going form normal to hard wont make the game harder, since your gear is upgraded. if you start with hard, youll get some nice pain in the ass.

This game has oodles of replayability (you can create a new campaign any time you want and it will generate the entire game randomly, new bosses, new dungeons, etc.). It's surprisingly well done and totally worth the full price. Definitely get some friends to co-op with.

The main story and story bosses stay the same but when you re roll a new world on the same character or make a new character the whole world changes along with enemies, loot, the world, world bosses, and maybe other ♥♥♥♥ ppl have yet to find out.

So If you play the game on Normal and beat it in 12 hrs then re roll that same character to a new world / hard / nightmare more you will get the same main missions but in a whole new world layout. Enemies will be harder as well.

You can join and play the game with randoms online and when ever you join in their game you will also notice you are in a whole different world again.

I can see this game currently lasting someone 12-50 hrs if you re roll for every difficulty and maybe more if you like joining other player worlds and helping them out.

ye hes right, its never the same boss, even if you disconnect from a public lobby and then reconnect top another public lobby it might join a player who is at the same point but not the same boss/dungeon. thats just random and kinda fun

Depends on your Playstyle actually if you go throught and explore every area etc to make sure not missing anything taking your time. easly 20+ hours in the current state of the first playthrought.

If you’re just trying to rush thru the game and not find the hidden secrets, rings, necklaces, armor, and weapons, sure you can beat it in 20-25 hours, but no way anyone completed half the game’s side content in that amount of time too. Sorry, but I don’t buy it. RNG is too much of a factor in the layout of the world and what quests/gear items spawn.
That’s like saying you beat the campaign in Skyrim or something and so now there’s nothing left to do in the game. This game doesn’t hold your hand when it comes to finding and completing the side quests and you’ll never complete half of them in the first play through

normal is easy. Hard is like dark souls
Killagore Aug 21, 2019 @ 8:35am
If you want to feel like its dark souls, try starting on nightmare difficulty. Pretty much most of the mobs one shot you and it makes the game really hard, but rewarding once you kill a boss/clear a map like in dark souls.

You can actually beat the game in 6 hours on normal did that with my brother. now we're replaying it on hard and exploring a bit more. I'm loving the game but on normal its a breeze which it should be i guess.. i don't wanna bash anyone dying on normal but ya know it only took 6 hours which isn't a lot. could've done it faster considering we were afk from time to time. (we just did the main stuff and killed the end boss) We do like to rush games though.. so our playtime is by no means absolute for a normal player that explores and does everything the game is of course way longer.. i just have no patience and rush literally every game i play.
