Whats this red skull thats constantly on my minimap?

What skull/how many skulls correlate to what difficulty though? We have 1 skull now, is that Normal? Hard?

According to reddit....Bronze = normal. Silver = hard. Gold = Nightmare

Anyone know why the skull is silver for me (I rolled a Hard campaign so that makes sense) however it's bronze for my friends when they join me?

idk what a Sin is, maybe you're just making a joke, but it's definitely not the location of anything since it's always on the bottom of the minimap, even when you're in the Ward.

Yeah that skull, quite possibly the dumbest thing I've ever seen, serves no purpose other than to confuse players so, why even have it, I'm pretty sure we know the difficulty we are on on our first playthrough and even more so if we reroll for harder difficulties.

People didn't want a Souls Darksiders, but the developer was pig headed about it.
