Main Quest Won't Progress Bug?

Heya folks,

Have to say I'm really enjoying the game so far but I think I came across a bug(?) which won't update no matter what I do.. So here's a question to all of you dudes who have rerolled their campaigns at least once already. My main quest requires I find a lead in the city but no matter how much I explore or find notes it would not update.. I have made it to the sewers and still nothing. Wondering if something's fishy here and i should reroll my game again or will things update on their own soon?

I don't even look at the tracker. Progress is linear for the most part. Just keep going until you unlock Mrs.Root and/or the Tower. You don't need the quest-log to tell you this.

Aye I don't really pay much attention to it but I don't wont to arrive at a point later on where I wont be able to progress in the game because of this.

Same issue. Rerolled to a hard campaign after killing the first boss (shroud). Quest tracker is still stuck on "Find a lead in the city".

Just reached the boss again, hoping it resets itself at some point I guess.

If you keep going it should eventually
Jump forward towards the end of the game.
