[Help/Stuck/Warning Spoilers] "Use the Undying King's Key"

G'day.

I'm currently stuck/lost.

I just killed the minotaur-looking boss with the fire crossbow thing in Yaesha. My quest objective was something along the lines of "Find trails of Ford within the Jungle".

Since defeating that boss, my quest is now "Use the Undying King's Key", and the quest text indicates finding a the correct door.

But where? This feels like a needle in a haystack type situation.

(For some reason I feel like this is the same quest step that I had when I received the key from the Undying King earlier on in the game, and I cant help but feel this is a possible glitch)

Would appreciate someone to point me in the right direction on this one.

you got a key from the king for one pf the gates in the labyrinth.

Same here and I don't even see an Undying King's Key in my inventory? I have the labyrinth key, not sure where to go or if I'll even get in when I get there as I don't see any new key. Do you have a new key at least?

You use the Labyrinth key/undying king's key in the labyrint to open portals. There's some parts in this game that requires traceback

This was a glitch for me, It fixed itself when I progressed further on the correct path.

I'm having the exact same issue right now and travelling from one world to another looking for possible answers with no luck at all..

Do you mind sharing what you've done to make the game unstuck?

It's hard to do without spoilers.

Let me put it this way, I was in the Jungle when this issue occurred.

I ignored the whole "Use the Undying King's Key" thing and searched the Jungle more, until I found somebody, which then over-wrote the quest with the correct step that is supposed to lead on from "Find Ford's trail in the jungle".

Appreciate your comment as I literally spent 3 hours going back and forth between areas.. will try to search the Jungle tomorrow!

No worries, It sounds like this issue always happens at the same point, not sure what triggers it.

Essentially I just went through the Jungle "un-fogging" my map until I found where I needed to be.

We have already found prisoner, we also have killed the Dreamer in "Final Fight", and we still have the quest to use that key

Sorry mate this was a year ago I can't recall. If you managed to get to the Dreamer I think you weren't having the same issue as me.

This is a bug. Ignore quest briefings. Find ford in jungle and Spoiler: use his key in ward on bottom floor.

Well since you necro the thread, the jungle is Yaesha, you have 4 biomes at the base game, earth, Rhom, the desert area, Corsus, the swamp area, and Yaesha, the jungle area, once you get the key from the undying king in Rhom you can go anywhere from the labirynth.

Having this same issue but I didn't get the Ford trail mission, I've combed the jungle and can't find him
