Why would that cause crashes and how can you be certain it's your firewall that is crashing the game?
To be honest I've been worried that it's my new ryzen 3000 Series processor because I've been having a lot of strange issues with it lately and I know since it's newer there are some Kinks to work out. For instance Monster Hunter world is crashing every 30 to 40 minutes and I was having some power plan difficulties where it wouldn't let me change the power plan off of balanced. And to top it off I'm not hitting my 4.6 Ghz boost which I heard is a common issue right now and my vcore voltage is running high which is also common...
Please try the following:
1. Try closing any and all third-party programs that are running in the background. Those known to conflict with our games include: RivaTuner Statistics Server, MSI Afterburner, and SteelSeries Engine 3 software.
2. Pause/disable your anti-virus software. Unfortunately these can sometimes be overly sensitive and block the game or Arc from starting properly.
I generally launch the game once a day to see if there are any changes or not. Some days, like today, I played for around 10 minutes before the game crashed, yesterday, I played for about 2 hours before one happening. Iv cranked all settings down to minimum and tried different resolutions, including fullscreen, windowed ect. I will try turning off GeForce Overlay to see if that helps, as it seemed to help OP, but yeah, dont know what else to try. My setup really shouldn't have any issue running the game, so I just really hope this can be fixed asap =/
