undying king choice

i opend the black sun door and am speaking to the king for the first time and i got to the choice. what is the result from both options

If you refuse - you fight him, if you accept offer you can skip him, or can still fight him if you talk to him again.
P.S. You can try to kill him and if you fail just skip.

so fighting him is optional? like getting the item wont result in something bad right?

No idea, i didn't kill that beast he asks yet, but later on found npc that wants that heart too so choice should matter but dunno results.

Spoiler warning! If you fight him he will drop some MEH weapon, it's definetly worth for the challenge but you will be able to enter the area where the portal goes later anyways. totally optional.

His weapon is really good imo, and the mod for it is very useful for solo play.

say NO and it goes right into the fight with him, Kill him and you get his heart (witch turns into a burst fire scoped rifle) and the labyrinth key, say YES and he opens a portal to a new world and ask you to kill a beast and give him its heart. now in this world you will be the thicc bug elf queen and she too will ask for the heart of the beast now you have a choice after you get the heart on who to give it too. give it to the queen and you get the slayer set (with all 3 peaces on you get 35% damage to your next shot after you reload) and a crossbow (does alot of damage and goes well with the slayer set) give it to the king and you get a scythe type weapon that drains a little bit of life per hit (you can also buy stuff stuff from the queen) but note you can only give the heart to one of them so if you give it to the queen who gives the better reward you have to fight the king

is there a way to skip him after giving it to the other one? i did and im stuck because i get anihilated because i cant dig dmg at all (trait level 22 and weapons to the max of forged iron) and a mistake kills me.....

it has zero impact in the outcome of the story honestly.

if you give the other npc the heart instead of the king, you will have to kill him for the Labyrinth key to complete the game. but if you give him the heart he gives you the key. Edit: and a melee weapon that is arguably OP

The portal behind him will be closed for that playthrough. Essentially if you arrive at UK and chose to kill him, you skip Corsus altogether. However, UK drops the Labyrinth Key once defeated and from the Labyrinth you can take a portal to Corsus, if you still want to kill stuff there. The plot proceeds as usual: You ultimately find Ford and get his Key.
