I've only played a few hours so far, but that's what I'm getting out of it right now.
Otherwise you can buy all the other stuff right from the shop. The only thing you really want to have is the trait, all the rest you can rebuy, no idea where you're able to get an option to get the other traits.
(Make a habit of breaking all breakable/wooden (shelves, crates, chairs) stuff, like the very first time you play, before you open up the crystal doorway, as after that it respawns all of those stuff in that starting area, can get lot's of scrap with the adventurer items)
for example: why would i take a sword when it deal half the damage of the improvised melee weapon the "medic" have (i forgot all of thoses names god ...)
You are only picking what set you want for free. That is it.
The archetype is just for the trait, and the rest is just free stuff that can be bought right away.
thats like asking what the best class to play is, healer tank or damage? oooh I dont know, and really its like a preference/meant to be fun not "how can I be the best thing ever and kill things as fast as possible"
You can get the other traits through sidequests / dungeons. In the city will be a dungeon where you´ve to get into the hunters-hiding. There you´ll get the hunter trait. (shadowwalker)
I haven´t found the others yet.
The overall best trait is probably spirit.
about power: does the healing power charge more quickly with weapon with high rate of fire? or slow ? (aka is it only based on % of total amo spent?)
i put it on my handgun because all weapon have 5% crit chance so using one were i can shoot more seems better. but i am concidering using the rapidfire pistol (or whatever the name of that full auto pistol is) .
so what would it be ? how does the power charging works? (i am also maxing out spirit)
