Where is the Assault Rifle?

Title. Cant seem to find the darn thing

Assault Rifle can be found behind the monkey door using the Monkey Key in an area called "supply run" this "dungeon" was generated for me and it was placed right after a boss fight in which you must defend a NPC, and no, it isn't the beginning tutorial mission to restart the reactor.

Keep in mind it is possible this area may not have been generated for your campaign.

Was it an event you found in the sewers? Or was it above ground?

It seems it's always in the monkey room and i found it in the sewers, should be close to the begining of the game....guess you can't skip dungeons.

Thank you! I appreciate the video. My friends and I have rerolled the world about 30 times. We have yet to come across this area. Just hasn't generated..

I'm still using the base rifle you get when you choose hunter. Got it at +15. Deals around 120 damage per shot. :P
